When people are prosperous, their enemies are in pain, and when they meet with adversity, even friends will keep away.
In the prosperity of a man, his enemies are grieved: and a friend is known in his adversity.
even your friends will leave you then. But when you are successful, your enemies will act like friends.
When one is successful even an enemy is friendly; but in adversity even a friend disappears.
When you prosper even your enemies are grieved, but in adversity even your friends will shun you.
One’s enemies are friendly when one prospers, but in adversity even one’s friend disappears.
One’s enemies are friendly when one prospers, but in adversity even one’s friend disappears.
One’s enemies are friendly when one prospers, but in adversity even one’s friend disappears.
One’s enemies are friendly when one prospers, but in adversity even one’s friend disappears.
A man’s enemies are grieved when he prospers, and in his adversity even his friend will separate from him.
A man’s enemies are grieved when he prospers, and in his adversity even his friend will separate from him.
In the goods (or in the good times) of a man, his enemies be sorry; and a friend is known in the sorrow and malice of him, that is, in (the) adversity of him. [In the goods of a man the enemies of him; and in the sorrow and in the malice of him the friend is known.]
